ELEPHANT CUT-OUT
This project is a personal favorite. This is known as a "cut-out" meaning that it is a shape cut out of a flat board that will be painted. In this case, the piece is an elephant cut out of 3 separate panels and assembled for me to paint. The 3 dimensional quality is all painted illusion - it is painted on a flat surface.
